Practitioner Bios


Marjorie O. Cook, MA, LLPC

Marjorie is a graduate of Michigan State University where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. In 1994 she received her Masters of Arts degree in Counseling Education Counseling Psychology/SPADA (Substance Abuse) from Western Michigan University. Her employment background is within the realms of the K-12 Public School setting working with children and their entire family (Head Start, Even Start, WIA) and many other State and Federally funded programs. Marjorie’s scope of experience also includes substance abuse, in which she worked 10 years while completing her internship through Western Michigan University.

It is Marjorie's belief, that, in order to treat the substance, you must treat the patient one layer at a time, which includes the mental, spiritual and physical aspects of the individual.


Billy D. Perry, BA, CADC-M

As a graduate of Grand Valley State University (GVSU); Bill received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. Having completed over 36,000 hours of counseling with Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse (A.O.D.A) training; Bill has received accreditation and is certified within the State of Michigan.

Bill’s background is extensive as it relates to working with people battling alcohol and drug abuse. His expertise includes over 22 years of counseling people with opiate addictions and troubled teenagers who have often times experienced with drug usage. In addition, Bill has worked closely and under the direct supervision of a Limited Licensed Psychologist.

Finally, his training also includes Fundamentals of Alcohol & Other Drug Problems (F.A.O.D.P) Certification and HIV knowledge and awareness training along other communicable disease training.


MaryKay Radford, BHS

MaryKay Radford left the finance industry in 2001 to embark on her second career in the helping profession. She earned her Bachelor of Human Service degree from Baker College in 2004. Some of her coursework includes: substance abuse, psychopharmacology, cognitive behavior therapy, motivational interviewing and crisis intervention.

Marykay has a Registered Developmental Plan in place with the Michigan Certification Board of Addiction Professionals (MCBPA).

Previously, MaryKay worked in Child Welfare as a Foster Home Licenser, Foster Care Caseworker, Teen Parent Case Mgr. as well as Coordinator/Instructor for prevention programs taught in local schools. ”
